FIBER OPTICS SERVICES

Our skilled team provides complete solution for establishing Fiber Optic Network. It includes following major steps.

  • Design OFC Network
  • Deployment OFC Network
  • Operations & Maintenance OFC Network

Design OFC Network

It refers to the specialized processes leading to a successful installation and operation of a fiber optic network. It includes first determining the type of communication system which will be carried over the network, the geographic layout (premises, along road side, outside plant), the transmission equipment required and the fiber network over which it will operate.

Next we consider the requirements for permits, easements and inspections. Once we get to that stage, we can consider actual component selection, placement, installation practices, testing, troubleshooting and network equipment installation and startup.

Finally, we have to consider documentation, maintenance and planning for restoration in event of a future outage.

We not only design the network installation but we provide complete estimate of the project cost. As we know, Design not only affects the technical aspects of the installation, but the business aspects also.

Deployment OFC Network

Fiber optic networks are constructed through the placement of

both underground and aerial fiber,   meaning that fiber does not always have to be buried.

Underground: Fiber optic cable is placed in a conduit system, which is buried through trenching and bore techniques

Excavation for Trenches: Excavation is required in optical fiber network installation to lay HDPE Pipe & then pulling fiber optic cables inside the pipe. The process involves digging a trench and laying the pipe to get cables in it. This is done to protect the cables from damage and to ensure that they are not exposed.

Bore Techniques: Horizontal boring is a technique used to install fiber optic cables underground with minimal disruption to the existing landscape and infrastructure.

Main Holes: Main holes are necessary for a fiber optic network route along its length to access the cable at periodic intervals. During installations, these main holes serve as space to assist the cable pass through ducts smoothly.

Aerial: Fiber optic cable is placed on top of utility or telephone poles

Installation of Aerial Cable: Aerial fiber optic cable is installed by stringing and bolting overhead cables on top of existing utility and telephone poles. This aerial fiber construction can be performed though a new pole attachment or by utilizing existing poles after getting necessary permits.

Operations & Maintenance OFC Network

Network operations & maintenance involves a set of critical tasks to keep your network up and running efficiently. Here are some common practices involved in network maintenance:

Regularly monitoring the network route: Keeping an eye on OFC route through patrolling team so one can avoid potential security threats in time.

Regularly Monthly Testing: Perform link health test periodically every month, and after installation of any new joint enclosure.

Troubleshooting network issues: During health test, if found any sort of high loss events/break fibers, restore it immediately to provide error free network.

Ensure Network Redundancy: Make such rings to prevent complete isolation of node in case of single point failure.
